When I Wanted to Give Up (And What Helped Me Keep Going)

There were days - lots of them - when I wasn’t sure anyone would ever buy my digital products (other than friends and family).
Especially on Etsy, where it feels like everyone is selling something similar or the marketplace is super saturated.
I’d sometimes catch myself thinking, “Why bother? What’s the point?”
And honestly, those thoughts almost stopped me before I really started.

But then I realized something important: I was making assumptions.
I was self-sabotaging and giving up before even giving myself a real chance.

So, I made a choice.
I decided to quiet those pesky voices - not by forcing myself to believe in something false, but by committing to try anyway.

It’s like tending to a garden :)
I’m planting seeds - little acts of showing up, sharing my work, and trusting the process.
I don’t know exactly when anything will bloom, but I choose to believe in the fruits of my labor someday.

That’s what building self-trust looks like for me (and it’s something I’m constantly working on - but I’m happy to report it does get a bit easier, little by little).

If you’re somewhere in that place too - when doubt feels loud and the next step feels uncertain or you feel like giving up - I created the Softening Self-Doubt Toolkit for you (and for me).

It’s a printable set of prompts, affirmations, and simple practices to help you quiet the noise and keep going without pressure.
It’s designed for the days when giving up feels tempting, but you want to keep putting in the work, one tiny seed at a time.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to take one small step today.
